Iron Dog Competition 2026

Virginia Police Work Dog Association has partnered up with the Suffolk Police Department to host the annual Iron Dog competition.

Event is open to VPWDA members and associate members.  It is also open to local government/US Military agencies, SAR, Detection, or any other form of organized working dog program.  $50 Entry Fee, which includes a Custom Shirt.   There will be  a walk through event the day prior at 1400hrs.  This will allow you to get a look at the course and obstacles.

First Team starts at 0700
Price: $50 per team which includes T-shirt & registration

Team is handler and k9 partner
Walk-Thru of course November 13th, 2026 at 1400

• 1st Place Overall,
• 1st Place Female Handler
• Divisions for Patrol, Narcotics, Explosives, Bloodhound, Accelerate and Cadaver disciplines.
